Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is a reviewer who reviews Z-grade films usually within the horror or martial arts genre a roughly similar beat to The Cinema Snob but tending toward action films that are dumb and boring, as well as an obsession with the genre. Her first review was in late 2009 after becoming famous in their forum. (Under her former handle Obscurus Lupa) Then she was asked to be part of on the Channel Awesome team. In early 2015, she joined the channel when Obscurus Lupa Presents changed to Movie Nights. She also currently runs two podcasts via her channel, both of which cover the Charmed franchise and both co-hosted alongside Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. After reviewing films in 2009 her name was a hit through the Channel Awesome forums. Before joining the official family consisting of Channel Awesome reviewers, she was a household name. She has appeared on countless Channel Awesome shows from Atop the Fourth Wall to Phelous & the Movies. She was once a member of the Channel Awesome family alongside Doug Walker and would often appear on episode of the Nostalgia Critic.
