Bella Poarch was born in the Philippines on the 9th of February 1997 to her natural Filipino parents. Her adoption took place at the age of 3 by her grandmother, who was a slum dweller. Both of her adoptive parents are Filipinos and her white American adoptive dad has had military experience. She claims that she and her adopted brother were neglected by the adoptive parents since when she was young until the time that she joined the military. Following a brief time within San Francisco, her family moved to Texas to help her father undergo a bypass procedure. She claims that the physical attack was less severe, however she still dealt with her father's mental abuse at home. After turning 18 she joined an organization called the United States Navy. Poarch began her TikTok in April 2020, which quickly gained traction. The site grew to over 40 million fans in less that 8 months. Millie B's video Soph Aspin Send, which is now a big success with Millie B was her greatest success. A zoomed-in clip of her synchronized lip-syncing to the song and leaping in time to it was an extremely viral video which has since become TikTok's most popular video. When she first joined TikTok and gained fame Poarch launched a YouTube channel, as well as a Twitter account. Her popularity grew rapidly until the month of December 2020. Two major Esports professional clubs were reported to be intrigued by her. FaZe Clan and 100 Thieves were interested in her hiring as a creator of content under their respective brands.
