Annette Funicello did not only perform and sing, she was also an actor. Most famously, she is remembered for being one of the Mickey Mouse Club's original Mouseketeers. When she was in her teens Annette began singing and became a household name for her songs 'Tall Paul' and Pineapple Princess'. She was born in Utica, to Italian parents who were immigrants from Italy, Annette was a shy teenager. She wished to build a career in the entertainment industry and soon took on acting and dancing.
